Doug Hettich

I first played D&D when I worked as a summer camp counselor in the late 90s. So camping and D&D, like at the Festival, has always held a special place in my heart. I am a Forever DM by choice and have been running games for the last 25 years and with every edition of D&D. I always strive to create a nice mix of story, roleplay, combat, and puzzle-solving in my games. I like playing big characters as NPCs and my sessions lean more toward the comedic. I try to get creative with my writing and how I craft adventures, experimenting with the game and trying new approaches to encounters, monsters, traps, stories, etc. This either makes for some crazy and fun sessions, or some incredible catastrophes.

Cerrah Hembroff

Hello travelers! My name is Cerrah (Sara). I have been playing D&D for over 20 years, and have been consistently DMing my home group for a decade. I also have been in the D&D social media sene, guesting in charity streams and lets plays. I enjoy theater of the mind and especially reward role play and collaboration from my players. I am a big believer in the elevator pitch. I am especially fond of new players and players who think outside the books. Keeping in mind this event requires RAW, I still want to make sure players feel like they can be creative at the table. So, I’ll do my silliest voices. You can bring your pop culture references. Let’s roll some dice, and tell a story.

Court Tipps

Hail and well met adventurers! For those of you who didn’t meet me in a tavern, I’m Courtney (Court) Tipps. I’ve been playing DnD for over 10 years and DMing for most of it. 2025 was my first time at Fest where I was a player, and while an absolutely wonderful experience, when the call came for more DMs I felt the pull to answer.

I’ve ran modules, homebrew, one shots and the like, each one with a goal of challenging the players in mind and spirit. I focus my storytelling around the players’ actions and how it affects the world as a whole. NPC interactions, moral dilemmas, and ethical quandaries fill my sessions causing the player to ask, “What would my character do?” I look forward to seeing how your characters influence the world and shape the story.
