Anne Kravec
Hello Brave Adventurers!
I’m Anne. I’ve been playing D&D and other TTRPGs for about 25 years. I currently DM a home game for my 14-year-old son and a group of his buddies and it’s exactly as crazy as you think it is! The last time I was a DM for the Festival was in 2019 and I’m super excited to be making my triumphant return to the other side of the table!
I would describe my DM style as collaborative and flexible - I view D&D as the players and DM working together to tell a story and reach the end goal. How we get there can take a variety of different paths. I appreciate that different groups experience the fun of the game in different ways. So I like to include a good mix of storytelling, role playing, combat, problem solving, and puzzles. I respect and follow the mechanics and spirit of the game, but at my table, story and role-playing always trump rules - it’s more about having fun and being creative.
I think of myself as an out-of-the-box thinker. I definitely go out of my way to come up with creative settings, situations, and NPCs for my games. My terrain likely won’t be as fancy or as detailed as some, but it will definitely be different. Standard dungeon tiles aren’t my style, but if you ask some of the folks who were around in 2019, they can tell you all about Candyland! If you don’t see something in my sessions that you’ve never seen in D&D before, I’m not being creative enough. I’m looking forward to having a lot of fun with everyone at my table!
Mercedes Pryor
Hello! I’m Mercedes Pryor, and I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons for as long as I can remember. My dad has been a DM since he was a kid, so I grew up rolling dice as soon as I was old enough to play board games. Over the years I’ve played in year‑long campaigns, run countless one‑shots for my friends and family, and fallen in love with the game. My favorite part of D&D has always been character creation and storytelling. I love helping players connect deeply with their characters and watching their personal arcs unfold. I grew up in musical theater, which taught me improv, emotional expression, and the joy of letting a moment evolve naturally. I use these strengths at the table as a DM. I tend to improvise, follow the energy of the group, and toss in the occasional unexpected funny curveball just to keep things lively. I’m also a huge fan of weird, whimsical magic items-- the stranger and more entertaining, the better! This is my first year DMing at Fest, and I am so excited to see what everyone’s characters accomplish and how their personalities grow throughout the adventure.
Will Comedy
Hello everyone, my name is Will Comedy. I have been playing since the days of the powder blue book and started by mostly DMing until I got into high school. I remained playing and DMing ever since. I was a game master at DnD Fest for the years of 2-4 and a player in the last 4 years. What’s my style? I call it controlled chaos. I use a mix of puzzles, hack and slash, and roll playing usually all happening at the same time. If you’re a quick thinker who enjoys total excitement and loves to push yourself to the limit, and enjoy the roll playing aspects of Dungeons and Dragons, then I look forward to seeing you at DnD Fest!
