DnD Fest Pre-Fest Workshops
As part of our “pre-Fest” activities, we’re inviting attendees to join in on some DnD-related workshops on Thursday or Friday. These are anywhere from 30–90 minutes long. No sign-ups necessary, just show up at the designated place and time and join in!
Thursday
5:00–6:30 PM – Paint n’ Take with Keith Cavey (Pavilion)
Relax with miniature painting! Primed minis, paints, and brushes are provided (bring your own if you prefer). Learn beginner techniques or sharpen your skills while chatting with Keith. Walk away with a finished figure for your collection.6:30-7:30 PM – From 2014 to 2024: What’s New in D&D 5e with Will (Forest Inn)
A lively, fun walk-through of the key changes from the 2014 edition to the 2024 update. Get ahead of the curve and be ready when sessions begin.10:00 PM – Legends of the Forest Inn with Einar (Forest Inn)
Join Einar the Innkeeper within the Forest Inn as he describes some of what he has learned about the Inn’s origins, myths, and place in history. Have any gaps in knowledge on the legends and lore of the Shadow Wars or the War of the Raven Queen? He has some of the history and has read some of the histories of the Chronicles of Shadow and the Chronicles of the Undying.
