What to Bring for DnD Fest

DnD Fest is an outdoor camping event where the games take place on decks, under pavilions, or inside pop-up tents. To make sure your adventure is as smooth as possible, we’ve put together a simple checklist of what to bring. Feel free to print this list and check items off as you pack.

Gaming Essentials

☐ Printed character sheet (MUST BRING!!!)

☐ You will ‘Level Up’ after session 2 (if you survive). Bring a Level 5 update of your character as well! DO NOT update in the campaign of DnD Beyond!
☐ Dice set (bring extras if you like to share or lose them often)
☐ Pen or pencil
☐ Notebook or loose paper for notes
☐ Miniatures or tokens (optional but encouraged)
☐ Any reference sheets you use
☐ Small dice tray or dice bag
☐ Portable light source (headlamp, lantern, or clip-on light)

☐ Bring extra $$$$ for purchasing great swag and raffle tickets for an unbelievable raffle year!!!

Camping & Personal Gear

☐ Tent or sleeping arrangement
☐ Tarp or ground cover (in case of wet conditions it gets heavy dew)
☐ Sleeping bag and pillow
☐ Extra shoes and socks (mud and rain happen)
☐ Comfortable and clothes that can be layered for both daytime and nighttime temperatures (expected weather is 50’s-low 70’s). (Bring raingear just in case)
☐ Snacks for between meals
☐ Small personal cooler w/personal drinks (or alcohol)
☐ Camp chair for around the game tables or campfire (maybe a soft cushion for those that like that)
☐ Sunscreen and bug spray
☐ Flashlight or headlamp with extra batteries
☐ Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.)

☐ Small camp stove or charcoal/grilling tools if you plan on making your own meals on Thursday or Friday

Note: No need to bring axes, firewood, or things for campfire—those are taken care of.
